Aspire to be the best of the best in recreational scuba diving and live the dive life as a PADI Master Scuba Diver. The Master Scuba Diver rating places you in an elite group of respected divers who have earned this rating through both significant experience and scuba training. Fewer than 2% of divers ever achieve this rating. When you flash your Master Scuba Diver card, people know that you’ve spent time underwater in a variety of environments and had your share of dive adventures. Every diver, who is at least 12 years old, should aim for Master Scuba Diver.

In order to complete your Master Scuba Diver Rating, diver are required to complete their PADI Rescue Diver Course in addition to 5 Specialties. Click here to see the full list of Academy Specialties. Specialty diver candidates have the choice to complete theory online and via optional dives on upcoming Academy Expeditions.

Here are a few ways to achieve the rating if you are ready to complete your Master Scuba Diver Level:

  1. If you are a Rescue Diver, have no specialties and want to achieve the Master Scuba Diver Rating select from the options menu to package 5 (or more) specialties you want.
  2. If you are a Rescue Diver and are a certified diver in 2 specialties for example, select 3 or more from the options menu.
  3. If you are a Rescue Diver and are a certified in 5 specialties, you qualify for your Master Scuba Diver Rating and can apply without completing further specialties if you so wish.

Divers completing one or more Specialty Rating alongside their Master Scuba Diver Rating will receive course discount(s).

It means that you have acquired significant training and experience in a variety of dive environments.

The Green Course Package combines 5 different PADI Specialty programmes. Upon completion, Green divers will also have the chance to apply for their Master Scuba Diver Rating if they have also completed their Rescue Diver Programme. Green Divers start as Advanced Open Water Divers and reach the levels we require all our divers to challenge some of the world’s most diverse dive sites. Divers will also have the opportunity to take initial steps to begin scuba-related leadership opportunities and sets the foundation for either Professional Divemaster or Master Scuba Diver Rating.

Divers will be granted access to our e-Learning facilities, e-Grade access and combine their dive skills in confined and open water environments.

The PADI Master Scuba Diver Rating can also be completed as part of the Green Course Package Plan combines five PADI Specialties.

Divers are also required to complete 50 logged dives and be a PADI Rescue Diver.
