PADI/SSI Dry Suit Diver Specialty

£260.00£305.00

DOSSIER: BECOMING A DRY SUIT DIVER ALLOWS YOU TO EXPAND YOUR BOUNDARIES AND DIVE MORE PLACES, MORE OFTEN. THIS SUIT SEALS YOU FROM THE WATER & KEEPS YOU COMFORTABLE, EVEN IN SURPRISINGLY COLD WATER.

Want to stay warm? Want to extend your scuba diving season? Then dive dry. A dry suit seals you off from the water and keeps you comfortable, even in surprisingly cold water. There is incredible diving in the world’s cooler regions and in some areas, conditions are even better in colder months. Becoming a dry suit diver allows you to expand your boundaries and dive more places, more often.

Mission Statement

The PADI dry suit course includes knowledge development sessions where you learn the theory, procedures and techniques involved with diving in a dry suit.

A confined water session that introduces you to buoyancy control in a dry suit, as well as swimming and ascent/descent techniques followed by open water dry suit dives. All eventualities of Drysuit diving are covered and rehearsed until you feel confident and comfortable in your Drysuit.

The PADI Dry Suit Diver Specialty course is popular because learning to dive in a dry suit is fun! Diving – yet staying dry – can be quite a bizarre feeling for the many divers first time. During the Dry suit course you will have time to acclimatise to the new sensation, whilst learning the various skills and techniques necessary for dry suit diving.

  • Putting on and taking off your dry suit with minimal assistance.
  • Mastering buoyancy control using your dry suit.
