DOSSIER: THE LARGEST GROWING DIVING SPECIALTY. IT’S FUN TO CAPTURE IMAGES OF YOUR UNDERWATER SCUBA ADVENTURES

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and with so many underwater cameras to choose from, it is more fun than ever to capture images of your underwater scuba adventures. The PADI Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly, whether you use a point-and-shoot camera or a sophisticated dSLR like the pros.

Mission Statement

Underwater photography is one of the most popular diving specialties, and the rise of digital underwater photography has made it easier and more fun than ever. However, taking good photos underwater is not as easy as it may seem and often amateurs give up because of frustration and lack of opportunities to practice their photographic skills underwater.

This is why there are two underwater photography courses. The Underwater Photographer course gets you going quickly with today modern digital equipment, whether you use a point-and-shoot snap camera or a sophisticated D-SLR like the pros. The Underwater Photographer course is a more traditional course designed for conventional film equipment.
