£370.00£470.00

DOSSIER: SHIPS, AIRPLANES AND EVEN CARS ARE FASCINATING TO EXPLORE AND USUALLY TEEM WITH AQUATIC LIFE. EACH WRECK DIVE OFFERS A CHANCE FOR A NEW DISCOVERY.

There is something about wrecks that captivates the imagination. Maybe it’s the mystery behind their origins or maybe it’s the way once glorious vessels lay broken on the sea floor, encrusted in life and creating a home to marine ecosystems. Whatever the reason, they hold a magnetic appeal for adventurous divers, aspiring underwater archaeologists and explorative photographers.

Mission Statement

Whether purpose-sunk as an artificial reef for scuba divers, or lost as the result of an accident, wrecks are fascinating windows to the past. Ships, airplanes and even cars are wonders to explore and usually teem with aquatic life. Each wreck dive offers a chance for discovery, potentially unlocking a mystery or spying something others have missed.

Many of the ocean’s best dive sites are wrecks. These impressive structures attract unusually high densities of marine life and give you the chance to immerse in living history as you dive. There is nothing quite like wreck diving and the Wreck Diving specialty will give you all the skills and knowledge you need to become a safe and confident wreck diver.

The Wreck Diver Specialty course is popular because it offers rewarding adventures while observing responsible wreck diving practices.

I came to explore the wreck. The words are purposes. The words are maps. I came to see the damage that was done and the treasures that prevail.

Every wreck is different. During the  Wreck Diver course, you’ll learn how to explore different types of wrecks by investigating their layout, history and hazards, and practice specialized wreck diving skills.

During four dives with your instructor, you’ll survey and map a wreck, practice special finning techniques and may use penetration lines.
