Mission Statement
There is nothing like breathing underwater for the very first time. It takes a little getting used to – after all, human beings weren’t designed to do that – but after a few minutes of awestruck wonder, most participants realise how easy scuba diving really is. The biggest challenge we have with the SSI Explorer programme is not coaxing participants into the water, but coaxing them out when the programme is over. SSI Explorer experiences counts towards a diver’s SSI Open Water Qualification.
The SDSDA Junior Master Diver Programme is for young divers whom wish to build their confidence and experience in both free diving and scuba diving in safe, confined water environments.
Taking elements of the SSI Basic Diver programme alongside blending professional free diving, mermaid techniques and undertaking aquatic adventure blue ocean conservation missions, the SSI Explorer Diver will confidently learn many of the skills and preparation required to take them to the next level as certified SSI Open Water Divers.
